Boys Day

I had a Junior League event that I had to be at all day Saturday so Daddy was left in charge.  Lee's dad, Pop Pop, came up to hang with Henry and Lee.  From what they have told me, they had a perfect day.  I kept getting cute pictures on my phone of all the fun things they were doing.  They had an eventful day that consisted of park time, lunch at Fosters, and attending the UNC spring football game.

Always happy swinging

Naptime is over.  Henry only slept 45 minutes for his afternoon nap.  I guess he was excited to have Pop Pop and daddy home to play with.

Toothy Smile

Check out my teeth!  Where did my toothless baby go??? He is growing up too fast!

Busy Boy

Now, that Henry is crawling and pulling up, he is into everything.  He is quick too! I can't turn my head for too long because who knows what I will find when I turn back around.  Below are some of his new interests around the house.

He loves the laundry basket!

Yay!!! I finally got the pan out!

Easter

Looking good in my Easter best

Easter was extra special this year because it was Henry's first Easter.  Lee had to work but he was able to finish up in the early afternoon.  My parents and sister went to Williamsburg, VA for the weekend so they stopped by on their way back for lunch.  Henry and I went to church Sunday morning.  After church, Henry napped while I finished getting ready for our late lunch.  Henry woke up just as my family and Lee were arriving.  We enjoyed lunch and then Henry dug into his Easter basket.  He's so special that he had not only one basket but two, thanks to his generous grandparents.  Thank you great Aunts and Aunt Katie for his other Easter goodies. Henry is one spoiled baby!

He had so much fun with his shoes and socks.  When I went to pick him up from the nursery, his shoes and socks were in his bag.  Sorry, Honey.  This boy can't keep his shoes on.  He would rather eat his shoes and socks.

Pulling Up

In the last few days, Henry has learned how to pull up to the standing position.  Once he has pulled himself up to standing, he becomes very proud of himself.  I feel like I say it all the time but I MUST BABY PROOF ASAP.  This child is really now into EVERYTHING!!! My baby is growing up way to quickly.

"Great view! Now, I can see what's inside"

So proud of himself for standing up

"Look at me, one hand.  I'm the man!"

Update: As of today, Henry is now standing up in his crib.  I guess he will start "cruising" soon.
