Each month gets better and better with Henry! It is so much fun to watch him grow and learn new things each month.
Size- We went to the doctor for his 4 month checkup and Henry is growing perfectly. He is 50th is percentile for everything. He weighs 14 lbs 3oz and is 25 inches tall. He is wearing 3-6 month clothes and some 6 month outfits but most are too big. Henry is wearing size 2 diapers. My little man is growing too fast for me!
Development- Henry loves to grab and touch everything! You better watch out!! We just introduced the jumperoo and he loves it. He also loves his jumper in the doorway. One of his favorite things to do is to stand on our laps. He rolls over from his tummy to his back but not consistently. Henry has become quite the talker this month. He talks constantly like his momma. He also squeals very loudly when he is excited. I think we are going to have a chatterbox on our hands one day. Henry learned to blow raspberries. Lee says that Henry associates blowing raspberries with him so everytime Henry sees Lee he blows raspberries. So cute!!
Personality- Henry is a social and curious baby. He wants to watch everything around him. He becomes very distracted when eating if others walk in or are talking. ADD???? He loves to talk and squeal. We can't believe such a little baby is able to make such loud noises.
Eating- Henry eats about every 2 1/2 - 3 hours, which is about 5-6 times per day. We have been given the go ahead to try rice cereal. I can't wait to see how he does with it.
Sleeping- Henry is sleeping 11-12 hours at night!! His bedtime is 7:30 if we are home and he normally wakes up around 7:15. Sometimes earlier and sometimes later. Naps are all over the place, which makes me kind of crazy. Currently, he is taking 4 naps a day. He normally goes down for a nap after being awake for 1 1/2 hours. Most naps are 45 minutes to an hour. Somedays, we get a 2-3 hour nap. I love when that happens!! I am hoping that this next month brings longer naps and less frequent ones.
Likes/dislikes- Henry loves anything in his mouth, blowing raspberries, the jumperoo, standing on our laps, and facing out of the Baby Bjorn because he can see what's going on. Unfortunately, he loves the TV. He does not like being strapped into his car seat. He cries almost everytime he is put in it but then stops crying once we start moving.
Milestones- Henry learned to blow raspberries. He went to his first Carolina basketball game. He loved it!!! I knew he would be a Tarheel fan.
